Inasal Festival in my hometown, Talisay City
September 30th, 2005
Lechon or popularly known in my hometown of Talisay as inasal (roasted pig) will definitely have its own festival in time for the new city’s fiesta this 15 October. I don’t know how this will compare with Balayan, Batangas’ own Lechon Festival since I haven’t been able to watch it but this will definitely showcase what we Talisaynons are very proud of. An Inasal parade, Kumbira (food feast) and a photo contest will be held.
Now, I just hope that I can go home for the feast!

Lechoncebu lechon is very delicious, It’s the best lechon I had tasted so far. The skin was very crispy while the meat is very tender & tasty.

It was amazing. It is one of Cebu’s trademarks. The taste is really different from other Lechon in other places. It has an after taste which will make you want more! It’s lechon itself. No add-ons!

Yummmy jud kaayo.
Gigutom nalang hinuon ko sa lechon
