Darn. Early in the morning and I arrived at the framer in Recto only to find out that the shop was still close. 0700H they told me the day before but there I was, past 0730H and the cold padlock still attached to the metal grill. Fuck. I woke up early only to find this. So I went to withdraw some money at Metrobank’s atm, had breakfast of longganisa at Jollibee and went back again, a minute before 8 and wonder of wonders, the manhand at the shop was just opening the shop. I inquired and was told: “Sir, di po kasi dumating ang salamin. Nagantay kami kahapon…” (Sir, the glass did not arrive yesterday. We’ve waited for it…).
Double Fuck.
Well then, I’ll have to go back this afternoon and get it in time for the opening at 1900H.
