1621H and the intersection of Ayala Ave. and Rufino St. was calm again but this time, people were just waking on the streets as confetti littered. The glass walls of Starbucks and Standard and Chartered were boarded up as a prevention if in case the “prayer” rally became rowdy. The marching horde an hour earlier were then gathered at Paseo de Roxas under the watchful gaze of Ninoy’s statue.
As usual, the underpass was shut close. Confetti from used phone directories were everywhere.
