Whew! I’m back from the Lenten break in Lucban. Back to hot, humid Makati. Back to work. Back to the same old boring lifestyle.
Lucban was just wonderful. The Holy Week activities there were just awesome plus great and hospitable people who accommodated me, primarily, Jayson Maceo and his barkada as well as Paugio who were all wonderful. It was really a great experience to learn and witness the religious activities there. Other than that, I was able to finally enter the church of Majayjay and its visita, marvel at the wondrous, colorful and awesome carrozas (carriages) for the lenten procession in Paete, Laguna. Photograph the penitents of Pakil which was just bloody and be awed by the three old churches of Tayabas!
Now, that was a great holiday break!
