After slugging through slow internet connection, I finally made some costumizations to my new blog theme based from Bharath Khumar’s 3ColumnK2 for Wordpress. Really a beautiful theme, I really liked its layout, typography as well as overall design. I’m now in the process of costumizing it. So far, I have done the following:
- made Raminia’s Pixelpost latest photo plugin work (it didn’t in my previous theme) for both latest and random photos from my photoblog BINARY SILVER
- added Technorati embed and Flickr badge
- finally implemented Wordpress’ excerpts (but oddly, I still have to see it work. In the meantime, “more” in the Admin - Write section is working for me)
Well, that’s it for now. I’m still mulling of changing the actual orange photo but maybe not. Next, adsense ads will be added. I’m also going over the plugins database to see what nifty plugin would be added.

Nice-looking re-design, man. Wonder when I’ll re-do mine
