Left, walking through the streets of Tabaco City, I saw this lineman busily repairing an electric post. During the time I was there, the city was still without electricity. Fortunately, the hotel I was staying had a standby generator.
Right, an enterprising junk shop swiftly collected these flown GI sheets. With the high prices of metals now, the owner is bound to make a fortune. But for the majority of houses that lost these, it will be a great expense.
