The opposition unleashed one of its election jingle deriding some of the opposition figures who took refuge in the administration’s lineup. Based on a 50’s song, even without mentioning names, the jingle is clearly referring to Edgardo Angara, Tito Sotto and Tessie Aquino-Oreta.

The three were rabid opposition senators until they were left out in the cold when the senatorial slate was drawn up. Angara, president of PDP-Laban was unceremoniously uninvited while Oreta was left out when Noynoy Aquino, a relative, was chosen instead to accommodate Drilon’s LP faction. With the Genuine Opposition, formerly UNO, rejecting them, they found the administration willing to recieve them, under the banner of Team Unity.

Actor Rez Cortes, a known die hard FPJ/Erap supporter admitted that he is behind this one. That is gutter politics rearing its ugly head.
