SUBSCRIBEAnother text scam
Early this morning I got a text/SMS message:
Congratulations ur sim #hadwon Php900, 000.00 From Casino Filipino during our 23d anniversary electronic raffle drw 4 more info call me now I’m Atty. Cindy A. Morales DTI permit#3777 series/2007…
The mobile number of the sender is +6391976677293.
It is easy to know that this is a scam since the originating number is a mobile number, not a special 3 or 4 number code.
Surely, its a known scam wherein if you call, you’re given instructions on what to do but usually its depositing an amount to a bank account. I wanted to report this to the Department of Trade and Industry and thus looked up their website but unfortunately, there was no link or service that they accept complaints, reports and feedback. I tried emailing them using the web address at their website but got this instead:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, because the message was forwarded more than the maximum allowed times. This could indicate a mail loop.

Darn! I just hope that the same email I sent to the Casino Filipino via their email at the website would be more successful.

Well, i just want to comment on what Larry has posted. Remember that those who are being fooled are the victims and you call them “TANGA”. Try to put yourself in the same situation that by this time you are the one being fooled… Out of innocence and ignorance you sway with it. So please be careful with your words… we are after the scammers and deceivers and not concern of pointing out mistakes of the victims… blaming them won’t help. You may be lucky enough that you are knowledgeable about these things… so just make your way to help, not to judge the victims…

may natanggap dn ako n ganyan.., Atty. Raul Dizon nmn ung name nya.., ahhahaha tanga ata.., nanalo daw ako ng php900,000.00.., with DTI permit# 3777-series/2009.., ulol yata ung gago n un eh!!!
