Dark Vessel is my first attempt of costumizing a Wordpress theme that is tailored fit for my needs. Actually, my base theme is YGo Soo Simple 1.0 but I did some revisions on the following files:
- CSS (where, expectedly, the bulk of the changes were done)
- index.php
- single.php
- header.php
- footer.php
- left_sidebar.php
- right_sidebar.php
- widget.php, from the plugin folder to customize my Meta information
I’m still doing a live test on this theme as a local install (Xammp) have some challenges when it comes to some plugins. There will still be further very minor changes, mostly cosmetic in nature.

I am not a fan of black backgrounds. It is more difficult to read and I think it is too dark for the pictures. Your previous white design was “cleaner”.
Just my opinion… hope you don’t mind if I tell you my opinion.
But then, colors and tastes differ from people to people.
