From his I accuse speech at the senate way back in 2000, Teofisto Guingona, past senator and then vice president of the republic has completely lost his bearing and turned around. From linking the disgraced former President Estrada to illegal gambling and betrayal of the public trust thus paving for his impeachment, eventually stepped down and faced trial, he has now been saying that he should be freed as he is now a changed man. That is what he has been mouthing at the 5 July press conference to the glee of those in attendance.
What better way to support their case than presenting the accuser now saying good things of the accused?
Guingona, much respected as a freedom fighter and nationalist has really lost it. Is it old age that has blurred his sense of justice that its now okay to have one acquitted because, as he puts it, he is down? An erring man should be freed because he is now changed?
I thought justice first before forgiveness.

people of the philippines kaya hindi tayo umaasenso dahil kahit nakita natin at napatunayan na nagnakaw sa bayan iniidolo parin si ERAP. Dahil mahilig kayo sa sine. Ang katotyohanan ay tayo mga pinoy may mga magnanakaw din at may ugali na ipinagmamalaki ang ginagawa kahit mali, kahit pagnanakaw pinagmamalaki pa rin.
People of the Philippines ang hindi nyo lang alam away polita ang nagaganap sa ating bansa at ginagamit lang kayo mga tao para kakampi sa bawat mga idolo nyo, ang iba binabayaran araw araw para lang sumasama sa pang gugulo, Bakit ba hindi natin hayaan hanggang matapos ang panungkulan nang ating mga nakaupo sa goibyerno alang alang sa ikauunlad sa ating bansa, dahil kung guguluhin nyo ang gobyerno babagsak ang ating ekonomiya, at hindi nyo alam yan namn ang gagamitin sa mga politiko na nagambisyon na umupo sa gobyerno. Tayo mga tao ang kawawa sa away ng mga politiko.
Kaya huwag kayo magpadala sa mga ambisyoso na gusto umupo, dapat sa sunud na eleksyon huwag na natin iboto ang mga lumang politiko (TRAPO) dahil gagamitin lang nila sa sariling

what happened to erap was a conspiracy. only until this time that people behind his ouster realized that erap is much better than the present administration.

His comb over is one of the best hairstyles EVAR seen in the Senate! Haha. At the end of the day, whatever Gloria’s doing, it’s doing wonders for the economy. Filipinos just have no concept of stability - they keep on insisting to turn local politics into their fix of soap operas.
