Duhat at the market

I was walking along the sidewalk at the Tabunok market the other day, lo and behold, the familiar small, dark and round fruit was piled on a pail. Lomboy! That’s duhat for non Cebuano speakers. It’s been more than a decade since I haven’t eaten this one. The sweet/tart taste is something that you would not forget easily. At just P25 per caltex, the plastic container that used to be a Caltex product now cleaned and the top cut off, I just have to buy these.
