Okay, so what if Barrack Obama, leader of the world’s sole superpower, for now, bowed to Saudi’s King Abdullah? You’ve got blogs lambasting and ridiculing the gesture and an editorial from the Washington Post calling it embarassing and servile. But I guess, Obama just know more about the Saudi’s culture than his constituents. I think it’s time Americans think beyond themselves and act as citizens of the world sensitive to other cultures.
But it might be a calculated action that would be beneficial in the long run.

Maybe the whiteheads wanted the King to bow to Obama, unmindful that it’s the Americans who are guests in Saudi Arabia!
So does this mean that when a kano visits my house I bow to them?

You are right Estan. But Americans are not used to this kind of behavior. They prefer that everybody else adapts to their (lack) of culture.
