I was looking around the net for web hosting providers and really, once you’re out there, the number is just overwhelming. The challenge becomes who can provide the best hosting service at a price point that I can afford without me worrying about reliability as well as for the long term availability.
How can I evaluate the different providers? Searching around, I found several sites that offer such a kind of service but one stood out for me: Web Hosting Geeks. Compiled are reviews, ratings as well as hosting awards.
What I like about the site is that it is direct with a simple interface that doesn’t confuse the viewer. What you need most are easy to find and is just a click away. It’s sidebar, located at the left provides links to needed information. You need to know who are the top providers? A click will show you the top 10 with links to the ranked sites, features available as well as another link for independent reviews.
One section of the site that i really liked is the Web Hosting Awards — Best Web Hosts 2009. It saved me a lot of time evaluating the different providers. Here, one can chose from Best Budget Hosting, Best Green Hosting and 14 more award categories. What more will you ask for?
