senakulo.jpg

I’ve just uploaded my Soundslide (demo use, yes, just registered it) Senakulo slideshow comprising 20 photos from a series of night shoot of a passion play in Evangelista St., Makati. Please click on the image to go to the webpage and click the PLAY button located at the bottom left corner. The slideshow is four minutes long with background senakulo sound recorded on the last day, 7 April with the typical tagulaylay rythm.

My Semana Santa posts will be started next week.

kinse-kinse

The parish pastoral council of Lucban couldn’t resist it and thus, the Spanish colonial era church ground perimenter fence locally called kinse - kinse was finally updated with those modern, ugly and out of place iron grills.

Its another sad development in yet another town in the country.

…continued from La Union, 3 - Bangar

Another short tricycle ride from the highway from Balaoan, or a much longer one from Bangar, is another imposing and beautiful church of Luna. Its blue and white paint a welcome respite from the usual pink/white/beige look on the other churches that I’ve passed in La Union.
