With my cheap plastic MyPhone drowning in gyoza sauce a few weeks ago at the airport, I finally got another reliable MyPhone unit: the TW1 Duo in Laoag City!
What’s in it?
- resistive touch screen
- dual SIM
- wifi capable
- and so many other things
I was more interested with the first three, thus I got this one and I’m quite satisfied. Initially I was looking at the Samsung Champ Duos (2) but that unit has a smaller screen. This one was cheaper too at just P3,999 compared to P5000 plus.
Another notable feature is that its Pinoy made and very reliable too.
But if I just got the budget, I would complement this with an IPAD2 or any good table gadget and an Android phone.
The Cebu Blog Camp 2011 will finally happen on 28 May 2011 at the Sacred Heart Center and I will be speaking on Travel Blogging from 1300H for 20 minutes.
There are also wonderful topics lined up for the day and for aspiring or current bloggers, are good enough reason to join this event in Cebu. There are several bloggers also who will be coming over to the city not only to learn but meet and socialize with other bloggers as well.
Now in its second year, 2011′s theme picks up from what has been discussed last year. “Learning new skills, experiencing new thrills” with interesting topics on travel, photography, social media and food.
Check out the Cebu Blog Camp 2011 website. You still have a few days more to register before the big event.
Globe just sucks. Yesterday, I got a text saying that I’m entitled to have 250 texts+ for having loaded a set amount during the week. Now that my ATXT20 has already expired since around 7 AM, I tried with dismay in registering for the SUPERFREE. Instead, I get this message:
Their customer hotline service already confirmed that I’m not registered with any other promos. And speaking with their hotline, they’ve just got a convoluted menu system and when you’re already sent to the queue for a live hotline, oh what a QUEUE that can last more than 15 minutes and still no one answers.
This problem is not only limited to SUPERFREE. Their SuperSurf50 has also the same problem where upon expire, it no longer automatically deactivates unless you text SuperSurf Stop. What a stupid syste.
I’m feeling bored and I want to sell some things. I’m not sure if there will be people who will be interested with these but what I’m really thinking is to sell these online. I think, with the right exposure and website, people can check it out and those who are interested might buy it. Speaking of online selling, I saw some online classifieds in the US that seem interesting. What I like about these are the zillions of items on sale on just about anything and this might be something that will fit my needs.
Selling online, I think, is the way to go, better than going to a flea market, rent space and wait for people to come. Online, there’s millions and millions of potential buyers not only in my place but all over the world! Think about that! But in order for it to be sold quickly, I might need to photograph the items one by one, upload and post descriptions, as I’ve seen this being done. In that way, the potential customer will know how the item will look like.
And some items that I want to sell: some long playing records from my father that I want to dispose since it’s no longer being used and a collector might want it, a couple of books on Photography, travel and architecture and some novels by top writers like One Hundred Years of Solitude by the great Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende’s House of the Spirits; there are also some stuff like DVDs and CDs, a few bags, still in good condition and some native wares that have been stored at the closet.
I still have to check my closet for additional items to dispose of.
