Why you should vote for GIBO

April 28th, 2010 | 1 Comment

12 days before the national presidential elections and its really time that we solidify our choice. I’ve long realized mine and it is for GIBO. Why? Despite the low rankings in surveys, he is the only one with a clear vision, clear platform and clear solutions. He knows what he is talking about without promising the impossible just to win votes or go down mudslinging.

If you want to be president, you have to want it. You have to be prepared, not being thrust to the limelight because one’s mom died. If you want to be president, you don’t have to consult the sisters and go on retreat. If you want to be president, you have to be credible and not invent and lie about your supposed humble beginnings to win the hearts and minds of people.

Why should you vote for GIBO? Simple. Check this post: Why I am voting for Gibo (and not for Gordon, Villar or Noynoy). The author wrote a very good piece that will help you decide.

Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s The Messiah

April 4th, 2010 | No Comments

Happy Easter everyone! Here’s the Hallelujah chorus from Handel’s The Messiah work which is appropriate to start the day right.

This particular song goes a long way back to my childhood days when GMA 7 starts their programming with a rendition of this popular song sung by a local choir. Sadly, that is a thing of the past but it has burrowed deep into my consciousness.
