My Flickr Moo cards arrived

Moo’s Flickr minicards (more like small businesscards) gave away 10 sample cards to 10,000 Flickr pro users and I was fortunate to be one.

Last Flickr Cebu/Sugbo photoshoot/meet

I really had a great time these past week that we’ve been meeting with the Flickr Cebu/Sugbo members. Always present: el merotti, wantet and markiiboi. Just imagine that the four of us have been present:

- in last Sunday’s sunrise chase in Liloan

- Thursday’s photoediting session at Bo’s Coffee in Asiatown IT Park

- a supposed sunset chase in Cordova, Mactan Is. (but didn’t caught it in time) and Fernan bridge shoot last night, and

- another sunrise chase early this morning and this time, atop the old Mandaue City - Lapulapu City bridge and a follow up shoot at the Fernan bridge

Other members were also present but the four of us were consistently meeting. Its always good to come home and be with newfound friends especially those that share common interests.

2nd Flickr meet

Yesterday afternoon, another Flickr meet with the Cebu/Sugbo group was held. This time, only 6 of us: el merotti, wantet, kangkong92188, markiiboi came. Farl came and went earlier. We just had a photo editing session (photoshop) where I demonstrated my usual workflow.

Liloan, Cebu sunrise - Flickr Cebu/Sugbo meet

To distract myself, I went with five other Flickr Cebu/Sugbo members:el merotti, wantet, benjieordoniez, gerald yuvallos and markiiboi to catch a sunrise. Originally, we planned to go to Danao but Gerald woke up rather late that when we were already on the road, sunrise was already imminent. That’s why we stopped at Liloan. The sky was rathe rovercast but we were able to manage to get some good shots. After, we proceeded to Danao at the wharf where fishermen usually bring their catch and spent a while there.
