Its almost 2 am and we’re still here in Gloria Jeans Glorietta, surfing, going online thru the EYP free internet. Well, not bad. This time its working. The reason that it didn’t work before was that a local login address needs to be input for it to work.
Just got this baby when I went back to Cebu yesterday (and back again here in Makati this evening, whew!).
Just arrived from the SonyEricsson store in Ayala Cebu with my new SE W850i. Wow, what a phone this one. I would have gotten the Cybershot phone K800i (with 3.2Mb camera) but then, I already have a DSLR and the 2mb of the W850i suffices for my needs. Besides, it has great music because its a walkman phone.

We were at Gloria Jeans Coffee at Glorietta 3 last night and with complementary e-yellowpages free wifi internet, tried it out. While the notebook computer can detect the hotspot, it just can’t give out ip addresses and was just a failure.

Internet connection is really at a snail’s pace since yesterday when 6 key submarine cables in Taiwan were damaged in the aftermath of the earthquake in that island country. Yahoo! services were really just disappointing as frequent time outs occured.
