Back to work

January 5th, 2005 | No Comments

Arrived in Manila a little past four yesterday afternoon carrying my luggage, two laptops and pasolubong’s of dried mangoes, mango puree and Camiguin’s pastel for my office mates and personal trainer. Whew. Heavy. But this is already okay. My officemates would have wanted me to bring a whole lechon (roasted pig), which Cebu, particularly my hometown of Talisay, is quite famous for. But the thought of ordering, packaging and transporting it was enough reason for me not to bring one. Maybe some other time when I’m not much loaded and it would not be my expense. They do liked the pastel though.

Back to work again today. But have to adjust myself from holiday mode.

Ha, George Bush’s election wasn’t bad at all. It generated business. Good for the economy. You should buy one from Dave.

Jog

December 26th, 2004 | No Comments

I set my mobile phone alarm 0430H so that I can jog. The time came, I woke up, turned off the mobile and closed my eyes. When I woke up, it was already 0630H. Darn. Some other day I guess.
