Strayhorn!!!

I’ve just upgraded to Wordpress 1.5, aka, Strayhorn and am now using Manji 2 as the theme. Except for the spam karma plugin that generated the following error whenever I click on a post:

Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/estan/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/spam-karma.php on line 105

everythings normal. By the way, to get rid of the above error, I deactivated spam karma and deleted it from my plug-ins folder. No sweat. Might not need it since current spam prevention in Strayhorn seems robust and active. Haven’t got problems at my other Wordpress 1.5 blog Binary Silver.

Strayhorn is out!

A stable version of Wordpress 1.5, aka, the STRAYHORN, is out! I will be upgrading this blog and Binary Silver to the latest version of this great blogging software by the weekend. Check out Wordpress

Whew, got busy the past few days updating my different sites and pages. This will be the last for now. estanli.net main page now with link for BINARY SILVER.

I can now concentrate on completing my photoblog. After my Cordillera vacation.

Binary Silver

I have just installed my new photoblog BINARY SILVER. A Wordpress 1.5 gamma installation using a modified Manji theme. While it is not yet complete, I still have to finalize the static pages and other links, it is already viewable and commentable.

Why BINARY SILVER? In the earlier days of photography, a photosensitive compound of silver (silver salts) was used in getting the image starting with Nicéphore Niepce, then developed further by his partner Louis Daguerre. William Henry Fox Talbot then introduced the calotype process that used silver iodide. In the digital era, binaries - ones and zeros, are the components of information. In a way, BINARY SILVER just translates to digital film.

Time to update my salagubang. I’ve redesigned the main page, added new papers that I’ve received from my Italian friend, Fabio Cassola, as well as uploaded several pages that were reformat.
